郑渊洁
全球出版量最大的中国作家
郑渊洁，1955年出生，1978年开始童话创作，一个人写一本月刊31年世界纪录保持者，杂志名为《童话大王》月刊。郑渊洁创作了两千万字的文学作品，书刊销量逾3亿册。他笔下的文学形象皮皮鲁、鲁西西、舒克和贝塔影响了中国三代孩子。2008年联合国世界知识产权组织向郑渊洁颁发“国际版权创意金奖”，表彰他原创了众多经典文学作品。2011年联合国评出全球十大图书，郑渊洁的《皮皮鲁总动员》和英国J•K•罗琳的《哈利•波特》并列第四名。2013年12月3日，英国首相卡梅伦访华时，单独会见郑渊洁，和他探讨教育和儿童读物。
Zheng Yuanjie
The Top-selling Chinese Writer in the World
Zheng Yuanjie, born in 1955, is China’s most famous children’s literature writer, founder and sole writer for a children’s literature magazine King of Fairy Tales for 31 years. Zheng Yuanjie began his writing in 1978. His books and magazines have been sold over300 million copies. Three generations of Chinese kids have grown up reading Zheng’s books. Pi pilu, Lu Xixi, Shu Ke and Bei Ta are Zheng’s famous fictional characters. Because of his outstanding achievements as an author, Zheng was awarded the WIPO Creativity Reward by the United Nations’ World Intellectual Property Organization in 2008. In the United Nations’ selections of Ten Best Selling Books of the World in 2011, Zheng’s books Pipiluand J.K. Rowling’s books Harry Potter were the 4th Best-Selling Books of the World. In British Prime Minister David Cameron’s official visit to China on December 3rd, 2013, Mr. Cameron met individually with Zheng and discussed education and children’s literature.
